Episode 5 of Becky: Unveiling the Past

Episode 5 of "Becky" takes us on a thrilling rollercoaster of emotions, as secrets from the past resurface, leading to confrontations and unexpected revelations.

The episode starts with Junior complimenting Becky on a dress she's holding. "You look good in that," he says, trying to break the ice. However, Becky attempts to leave the room, but Junior holds her back, insisting they have a conversation.

"Please, Becky, how many years has it been?" Junior implores. "We have nothing to talk about," Becky retorts, trying to distance herself. Junior's voice, husky and enticing, adds an intense vibe to their exchange.

"Really, you just disappeared from school like that?" Junior questions further. "We don't need to dig up the past," Becky firmly replies, trying to avoid the topic.

Junior persists, "Tell me what happened to you that was so bad you didn't come back?" But Becky remains steadfast, focusing on work and not the past. "The room is dirty, and I want to clean it. Either you leave or I will," she says, pushing him away.

Defeated, Junior sadly leaves the room, and Becky closes the door behind him. Hidden from his view, she breaks down in tears, while Junior, on the other side of the door, sighs in frustration.

At that moment, Trisha calls out to Junior, "Babe, what's up?" she asks. "Yeah, I'm great," he replies, trying to hide his turmoil. Trisha questions why he took so long, and he covers up by saying he was waiting for the "girl" in the room to finish her work. "Should I ask her to leave?" Trisha offers, but Junior quickly responds, "No, let her do her work. It's okay."

Suspicious, Trisha watches Junior leave and then enters the room where Becky is busy cleaning.

She approaches Becky, asserting her dominance. "Don't break anything in this room," Trisha warns, pointing her long-nailed finger at Becky. "My things are worth more than your salary. And don't even think of stealing, I know all my belongings!" she threatens. Becky humbly responds with a simple "Sawa, madam."

Meanwhile, downstairs, Junior is sitting at the dining area, lost in thought. Mama Junior and Trisha join him, and the topic of the wedding arises. Junior attempts to avoid the conversation, but Trisha and Mama Junior insist on discussing the preparations.

In another part of town, Tito arrives on a boda boda bike, where Shantel, looking stunning, approaches him. They engage in a lively chat, and Shantel hops onto the same bike. Tito remarks that he never understands what Shantel talks about.

Back at Junior's house, Sally is trying to choose an outfit when Becky enters her room to clean. Sally playfully asks Becky for fashion advice, and Becky points to an outfit, praising its versatility. They share a warm moment of gratitude, with Becky thanking Sally for standing up for her during the job search. Becky inquires about Sally's job, and Sally reveals she recently graduated as a nurse, with a specialization in the operating room. Sally teases Becky that she should be styling the rich and famous! Becky brushes it off, starting her cleaning.

Outside, Junior is sitting peacefully in the garden when his mother and Trisha approach him. Trisha, eager to discuss wedding plans, brings up the subject of the budget. Junior, however, tries to deflect the conversation, urging Trisha to relax and enjoy the present moment.

Mama Junior intervenes, supporting Trisha's desire for timely preparations, insisting that everything should be ready by the end of the month. Junior finds himself at a loss for words, unsure of how to respond to their enthusiastic wedding preparations.

Just then, Sally arrives in the garden, looking lovely and exuding maturity in her attire. Junior seizes the opportunity to divert the focus, remarking on Sally's beauty and engaging in light-hearted banter. They share laughter and well-wishes for Sally's upcoming job interview

With Sally ready for the interview, Trisha volunteers to accompany her, offering to drop her off. Mama Junior excuses herself, mentioning that she has some work to attend to but leaves Junior with a gentle reminder to ponder on their recent discussion.

Inside the house, Becky finds something intriguing in Mama Junior's room and picks it up. Mama Junior walks in at that moment and sees her. Shouting, she asks "What are you doing there?" She grabs the item from Becky's hand, expressing her disapproval of snooping around. She asks Becky to leave her room immediately. This suspicious act hints at hidden secrets!

Meanwhile, at the boutique, Shantel faces work-related issues with her boss Judy as Shantel had been absent from work. She tells Judy she has been sick, but Judy shows Makena, an employee at the boutique that Shantel was out enjoying Reggae night while claiming to be sick.

Just then, Trisha walks into the boutique and happily greets Judy and shows off her engagenemt ring. They start discussing Trisha's upcoming wedding with excitement.

Shantel asks Makena who Trisha is and she realizes its Juniors fiance.  Her thoughts are preoccupied and her gaze remains fixed on Trisha as she discusses wedding gown options with Judy. Trisha contemplates importing the gown from Turkey, while Judy suggests a designer based in China. Unaware of Shantel's disdainful stare, Trisha leaves, promising to return for more shopping.

Inside the house, Becky is washing dishes  when Mama Junior calls out to her. She asks Becky to make her a smoothie but Becky says that they are out of groceries. Mama junior asks Becky to make a shopping list.

Later, Junior is on the phone, talking to his friend about his engagement. He asks his friend to be his best man. However, catching a glimose of Becky, he exclaims to his friend that he is on an  uncertain path. "I think fate has something else in store for me," he confides. His friend asks what the issue is, and Junior replies, "Just come and see for yourself."

Iside the house, Mama Junior is engrossed in a serious phone conversation, her voice filled with uncertainty as she murmurs, "Yes, but I don't know what to do." Just then, Becky approaches her with the shopping list in hand, seeking Mama Junior's attention. Mama Junior quickly hangs up the phone and looks at the grocery list, asking Becky to make a few changes. She also tells becky yo vall a taxi and for her phone number to send her money.  "I don't have a phone." Becky tells her.  Mama Junior is taken aback by this revelation, shocked that someone in this day and age doesn't possess a phone. While they are still in conversation, to Becky's and Mama Juniors surprise, Junior intervenes, offering to take Becky for the shopping   instead of calling a taxi. Junior insists on being her ride. With a nonchalant shrug, he interjects, "I'll take her, Mum." Mama Junior hesitates but finally relents, saying, "Okay."

As the episode draws to a close, Becky's face reveals a mixture of emotions, a subtle grimace forming, while Junior gazes at her with a sense of contentment and curiosity!
